Singer Melinda Ademi's mother has passed away at the age of 50 as a result of a long battle with breast cancer. Through an Instagram post, Melinda said that her mother fought for a long time, but now "she can be at peace".

"On March 3, 2021, my dear mother Mrs. Ademi passed away from her battle with breast cancer at the age of 50. This is the hardest message I have ever written and words cannot describe the sadness I have. The past days have been the hardest days of my life and I am gathering strength to write this post dedicated to her because the world deserves to know about my amazing mother and how hard she fought and loved.

Mom, you are the strongest woman I know, you are my best friend and I can always count on you to be there with me for everything. We always talked about everything and I am so honored to really know you and to receive your help and guidance. You have fought so hard for love with dad, to raise all 4 children and to make sure we are all well. You have been strong for us for the last six years and I am very grateful that you are my mother. ”

In the post, Melinda promises her late mother that she will make her proud.

"Mom, thank you very much for encouraging me to pursue my career and thank you for supporting me and understanding me. All my life all I ever wanted was to make you proud and I know you are proud of me. I promise I will continue on your way to being the strongest and most tireless woman, just like you.

I love you mom, I will miss talking to you for hours, but I know now that you are finally at peace. I know that you will see me from above and you will protect me as always ... Goodbye mama I am, I know that we will see each other again in paradise.
