In the latest video posted on her YouTube channel, Hailey Bieber, in a conversation with psychiatrist Jessica Clemons, talks about the intense online ridicule and criticism she has received, revealing some of the reasons why she decided to close her account on Twitter.

Hailey initially said that one of the biggest problems he has encountered on social media has been the comparison they have made with other people, even in appearance. 

"Especially after I got married, I got another level of attention and it affected me a lot. One of the biggest problems I struggled with was the fact that they compared me, made comparisons with my body, behavior and everything. When you go through such a situation with so much "Many people follow you, a mess is created in your head and you start to doubt everything."

Hailey adds:

"I thought, 'Is there really something I do not see, but they do? Maybe they are right.' I got to a point where I thought I was really living in illusion."

The model says that to deal with all this, she set conditions for minimizing the time spent on social networks, such as using Instagram only on weekends and not from Monday to Friday. Bieber said that was one of the reasons she closed her Twitter account - because of its "very toxic environment".

"I don't even have Twitter anymore, because there was never a case where I logged in and didn't find something bad. Just the thought of reopening the app makes me anxious."

Although Hailey did not mention names explicitly, the person with whom she has been constantly compared on social media, referring to the time period she spoke about, is precisely Selena Gomez. Girls have often been the subject of online confrontations, by relevant support groups, because of their relationship with Justin Bieber.
