Sperm is said to be 'good' for skin and acne, but how true is that?

You may have heard some influencers or celebrities being interested in the benefits of sperm in skin care, but YouTube videos and personal anecdotes are not enough to convince experts. In fact, there is no scientific evidence to support the idea of ??placing sperm on your skin.

What if you bring it?

Experts say it can also result in allergic reactions or sexually transmitted infections.

I mean, semen does not fight acne?

Hmm ... what ?! The whole idea is a bit of an urban myth. It is not clear where it came from as an idea. Many people believe that "sperm" - an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent found in sperm, can fight skin irritations, but again we emphasize: There is no evidence to support this.

What about its supposed anti-aging benefits?

Sperm is to blame for this as well. Its antioxidant status means that some believe it can soften fine lines. A study published in Nature Cell Biology found that injecting spermidine directly into cells could slow the aging process. But little is known about the effects of its implementation. Therefore, we emphasize again: Do not try.

So, is it all a lie?

Sorry to disappoint you, but there is no reason for dermatologists to recommend sperm as a skin care product.
