Bella Hadid made people turn their heads when she arrived on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival - with an outfit that is arguably one of the most stunning on the festival's 74th anniversary.

The model appeared wearing an avant-garde dress from the Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2021/22 collection by Schiaparelli, designed by Daniel Roseberry.

The neckline, which contains a gold pendant, which Schiaparelli described as "Golden lungs trompe l'œil with rhinestones" definitely caught the attention.

"Trompe l'œil" describes the artistic illusion that perceives a painted or flat detail as a three-dimensional object. Rhinestones are shiny stones that mimic diamonds and are made mostly of precious glass or quartz.

Bella completed the look with gathered bun hair and earrings and ring with ruby ??stones.
