1. Steve Jobs
Seve Jobs's cousin claimed that Jobs's birth name was actually Abdul Lateef Jandali. Schieble was the biological mother of the future genius. She bore Jobs and chose an adoptive couple - Paul and Clara Jobs, a simple family who managed to pay for their son's university education.
2. Marilyn Monroe
Marilyn Monroe's mother's name was Gladys, and it is assumed that mentally and financially she was not prepared for a child. Despite this, Monroe's early childhood was quite stable. Later, Gladys placed her daughter with adoptive parents Albert and Ida Bolender for the first 6 months, and then she was forced to return to work.
3. Jack Nicholson
For nearly 4 decades, Jack Nicholson believed that his mother, June, was his sister. June was only 18 when Jack was born. To avoid embarrassment, Ethel May raised Nicholson as his son.
4. Frances McDormand
McDormand was adopted in a year and a half by Noreen and Vernon McDormand. Her adoptive parents were a nurse and a pastor. Both had no biological children.
5. John Lennon
John Lennon was raised by his aunt, Mimi. She adopted him from his biological mother, Julia Lennon. His aunt was a strict role model for young Lennon.
