Dishes that should not be missing during Easter

Easter is Sunday, but if you have not yet thought about the food of that day, do it now. You know that this holiday requires special foods to be served on the table and not without purpose.

This day is very much related to the food tradition, but what should we cook and why?

1. Boiled eggs (and egg-shaped chocolates)

Perhaps one of the foods that unites people around the world for Easter is red eggs. Although we mostly use them as something decorative for the table, the tradition of knocking them out on Sunday morning remains a continuing tradition.

2. Easter Bread

Easter bread is another traditional food that is cooked these days. It symbolizes the body of Christ and is said to have been shared during the Last Supper with the apostles. If you share half for yourself and half for your friend, it is said that the relationship will strengthen even more over the years.

3. Roast lamb

It is usually served at Sunday lunch and is associated with Christian history.

4. Carrots.

Carrots are also closely related to this period and it is best to use them in any dish you prepare that day.

5. Pork bacon

It is said that cooked bacon brings good luck. It was also widely used in America where lamb was not preferred.
