Kylie Jenner may have attended the Met Gala 2022 without her "love" Travis Scott, but she still brought the bridal atmosphere to the big night.
And while sharing some behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram on Tuesday, Kylie revealed the reason for the Off-White bridal gown she chose for the red carpet: It was intended as a tribute to the brand's founder, Virgil Abloh, who died in November 2021 at the age of 41 years old.
"Virgil and I had to go to the Met together before it was postponed to 2020," Jenner, 24, wrote in her caption.
"To celebrate his incredible legacy tonight really means the world to me. I feel humbled to wear this dress. We love Virgil forever and thank you to the whole @off____white team! ”
The 24-year-old dress included a dramatic skirt and a bust worn over an off-White logo mesh blouse. Jenner is also fitted with a veil attached to a baseball cap back.
