In the lawsuit filed between the ex-spouses, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp were heard on Thursday the testimonies of well-known people of the main parties. Depp's former close friend and his former business manager described the duo's relationship always tense.
Among the witnesses who appeared in court was actress Ellen Barkin, who claims to have known Depp since 1990. She testified against Johnny at the next court hearing, after describing him as a man who stood "drunk most of the time".
According to Barkin, she and the actor had an intimate relationship that lasted for several months in 1994. During her testimony, the actress said Depp was drunk "most of the time they were together" and went on to describe Johnny as "controlling" and "jealous".
"Mr. Depp broke a bottle of wine in the middle of the room, inside the hotel room, in my direction as we were shooting for 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,'" she said of the incident inside a hotel room in Las Vegas after a quarrel between them.
The court proceedings will resume again on Monday for the last week of evidence.
