The science of attraction is complex and difficult to predict, as what is attractive to one person is not to another. One is attracted by the sense of humor, by the voice, by the way of looking or simply by the confidence that is transmitted, but there are certain qualities that are particularly attractive to a good number of women. 

Specifically, on a man's face a very attractive feature for women is markings. As strange as it sounds, a man with a mark on his face will intrigue and interest them more than someone else who has every perfect feature. But why do men become more attractive to the eye if they have scars?

1. Facial markings are a sign of strength and bravery

Earlier, in Western culture facial markings were considered unattractive, while in other cultures they were perceived as a sign of maturity and courage. However, recent studies have concluded that men with facial scars are more attractive to women, as they are unconsciously associated with strength and health. 

2. Men who have scars on their chins, very famous for short flirtations

They are very interesting for women's eyes. They look very masculine and give the idea that they take on any kind of challenge that comes their way. In fact, it has been found that such men are more likely to have flirtations and short romances compared to those without facial marks, as they are considered more careful, polite and suitable for married life. 

3. The signs represent the image of the bad boy and this is reflected and made famous in series/movies

The big screen has made bad boys very attractive to girls, associating danger with adrenaline, passion and adventure. That being said, a man's face with a sign is associated with such characteristics that are attractive to girls, if only for a short time.
