Kelly Clarkson has spoken openly about how she disciplines her children from time to time, even using a slap.
The singer, the mother of two children, told radio Atlanta 94.1 that when her children overdo it, she also uses physical violence, to "bring them to the rails".
She added that she doesn't hit them hard, just one or several small slaps.
"My parents hit me and I'm fine and I feel good about it, so I practice it. It's a bit tricky when you're in public because people think it's wrong, but I don't see anything wrong with a shot."
She clarified that she only uses the spank when they misbehave, and used her 3-year-old daughter, River Rose, as an example. "I warn him. I say, ``Hey, I'm going to hit you if you don't stop,'' Kelly said, noting that it has helped her parenting.
