For several days, various portals in Albania have been circulating news that "Anjeza Shahini has separated from her husband" or that "Anjeza has continued her life back in Albania".

After rumors of separation, the singer reacted to deny the rumors, revolted by the fake news.

"You have your 'right' to publicly apologize for the false news, damaging to my public image, news created by your diabolical imagination. I ask that you delete your invention from the ugly websites and social networks you manage, and urgently refute your conclusion about my family status! Even for you, this was very low. Shame on you for hurting a family, damaging the image of a grown-up girl in the eyes of the Albanian public," wrote Anjeza.

In another post, the singer adds:

"The problem is not simply in the gossip of the moment, but in the lie that remains in the archive, and no one should tolerate this. Of course, I will try to get to the end, but I will not bore you with details."

Shahini and her husband, English diplomat Paul Edward Conolly, married in September 2015 in a private ceremony in Tuscany. They are the parents of a daughter, Victoria Kelis Connolly.
