Angus Cloud's cause of death revealed

Actor Angus Cloud died in July of an accidental overdose of cocaine, fentanyl and other substances, the California medical examiner's office announced Thursday.

Cloud's cause of death was "acute intoxication" due to the "combined effects of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl and benzodiazepines."

The actor was pronounced dead at his parents' home on July 31 in Oakland. He was 25 years old.

Angus Cloud became famous in the series "Euphoria" where he played the role of drug dealer Fezco "Fez" O'Neill and soon became one of the favorite characters of the fans of the series.

He had nothing to do with acting before participating in "Euphoria". Angus was walking down the street in New York when talent recruiter Eléonore Hendricks spotted him. Cloud was skeptical at first, suspecting a scam. Casting director Jennifer Venditti then met with her, and series creator Sam Levinson eventually made her a star of Euphoria for the first two seasons.

“There was no one like Angus. He was too special, too talented and too young to leave us so soon. He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knows how many hearts he touched. I loved it very much. I will always love him,” Sam Levinson told the Hollywood Reporter.
