You may have seen on social media a theory that Prince William has a parallel relationship with Rose Hanbury, a friend of the royal palace. In April 2019, rumors circulated that William and Rose had created a secret relationship, and at that time, even Kate, publicly, seemed distant from her husband.
Recently, Kate's "disappearance" has been linked to this very "connection" and the rumor has returned to attention.
Rose appeared at King Charles' coronation and although she has been friends with Kate, they haven't even spoken. The royal palace never addressed the claims, and royal writer Omid Scobie made a point of it in his book Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy's Fight for Survival, but told ET he did not believe the rumours.

"The royal palace never spoke about it, so most likely, the rumor will continue to circulate," Omid wrote.
Rose's name has started to be present again, especially after Stephen Colbert's monologue on "The Late Show", where he said: "While we were talking about this yesterday, the kingdom is facing the disappearance of Kate Middleton. Now the internet is linking her disappearance to the possible betrayal of her husband and the future king of the United Kingdom,” Colbert said, adding: “We think we all know who this woman is: Rose Hanbury. There have been rumors that they are dating since 2019. According to the media, Kate confronted William about the matter and he just laughed it off and said that nothing is true. "Haha" is always a good response when a woman accuses you of cheating," said Colbert.

Colbert then revealed that Rose is married to one of William's close friends, David Rocksavage, but who is Rose Hanbury, the woman who has sparked so many rumours?
Rose is 39 years old and has been a model. Her full name is Sarah Rose Cholmondeley and she has three children with her husband, David. Alexander Hugh George, Lord Olivier Timothy and Iris Marina Aline.
Rose previously worked under Michael Andreë Gove, Member of Parliament and now Secretary of State for Communications. According to The Independent, Rose manages her husband's properties. The couple met in 2003 in Italy and got engaged 6 years later. Then, in 2009, they crowned their love in a private wedding.
Rose has a long association with royalty and her grandmother, Lady Elizabeth Lambart, is said to have been one of Queen Elizabeth's bridesmaids when she married Prince Philip in 1947.
As for the alleged infidelity, there isn't enough evidence, just hearsay, but apparently, the internet has no plans to stop.
