You have probably heard that a diet has foods that are not 100% healthy, such as fried potatoes or sweets that are not good for the body. This does not mean that you can never consume them, because they taste good, but they should just be eaten in moderation.

"Knowing which foods are not very healthy and which should not be consumed in large quantities, especially if you want to lose weight or play the weight you have, is the first step towards the success of an ideal physical weight," says Yelena Üheeler, nutritionist.

What are the foods that make us fat? Here are the eight most important of them!

#1 Dairy products

People have different reasons for not consuming milk, such as lactose intolerance. Despite its nutritional value, milk is high in calories and excessive consumption leads to weight gain.

#2 Dried fruits

Dried fruits have a lot of influence on weight gain, despite the fact that they look healthy. The problem is that even without fat, they have concentrated sugars and if eaten in large quantities this affects your kilos.

#3 Gluten-free baked goods

Nutritionists say "gluten-free" doesn't necessarily mean "healthier." They may not contain gluten, but they do contain sugar, fat, and ingredients that replace gluten.

#4 Low-fat or low-sugar ice cream

These ice creams are seen as healthier choices, but the calories are still there, even if you're careful about how much you eat.

#5 Yogurt

Yogurt is an excellent source of protein that can keep you full for a long time. But some yogurt is often considered the equivalent of added sugar or a piece of cake, so be careful with the amount.

#6 Cereals

In this case, you should see the product label. Many are low in fiber and high in sugar. Therefore, it is advisable to eat them in small portions.

#7 Nuts

Nuts are another healthy food that is consumed especially when you want to lose weight, but in fact they are full of calories, which affects your kilos.

#8 Nut butter

Again, portion size is important because nut butters can be a good source of protein and fat, but the latter can become a problem if you want to lose weight.
