Helena talks about the late Ismail Kadare: "I still don't understand

Helena Kadare, the wife of the colossus of Albanian literature, Ismail Kadare, has commemorated the extraordinary writer. In the tributes made in his honor, Helena said:

"40 days have passed and for me and my loved ones, it is still present. I still don't understand that it isn't anymore. My presence near Ismail has been a long, great and tiring road as well. I have tried to be a wife and a friend, to support him in difficult moments, but at the same time, there are many beautiful moments that we spent together".

Further, it continued:

"To conclude as he himself said very nicely: "I did a normal thing in an abnormal place". And as you all know, he did it very successfully and I am proud to have been by his side".
