Sofía Vergara has set her sights on love this year!
The actress, 52, opened up about her New Year's resolutions in an interview with Access Hollywood at the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 5.
"Health, money, a boyfriend," she listed, before adding 'cheekily', "or a lover, maybe."
Vergara was nominated for best performance by a female actress in an anthology series for her work on Netflix's Griselda, but the award ultimately went to True Detective: Night Country star Jodie Foster.
Both the actresses had a great interaction during the awards show. When Foster went to start her acceptance speech, the "Modern Family" alum jokingly yelled, "No, no! Give it to me."
Vergara separated from her husband, Joe Manganiello, in July 2023 after seven years of marriage. The pair started dating in 2014 and got engaged that same December. Their divorce was finalized in April 2024.
They released a statement to Page Six at the time, saying, "We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people who love and care deeply for each other, we politely ask that our privacy be respected in this time. We are navigating this new phase of our lives." In January 2024, the America's Got Talent judge told Spanish newspaper El País that she and her ex were not on the same page when it came to expanding their family.
"My marriage fell apart because my husband was younger; he wanted to have children and I didn't want to be an old mother," Vergara explained. "I feel like it's not fair to the child. I respect anyone who does that, but it's not for me anymore."
Vergara has since been in a relationship with orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman.
The pair were last seen together in July, when the actress posted a photo on Instagram with Justin relaxing during their Italian 'getaway'.
