After more than three years of dating, the 23-year-old model and Oscar-nominated actor have ended their relationship, a source confirms to People.
The news was first reported by TMZ, emphasizing that the couple separated at the end of 2024. Also, the media noticed the absence of the "Elvis" actor during the Gerber family's last vacation in Mexico.
Reps for Gerber and Butler have yet to comment on the news, according to The People.
The couple began dating rumors in December 2021 when they were spotted attending a yoga session together in Los Angeles. After several public appearances, they debuted as a couple on the red carpet during W Magazine's annual Best Performances party in March 2022.
In May of that year, Gerber and Butler attended the Met Gala together. Although they walked the red carpet separately, they shared a sweet moment (and a kiss) when they reached the top of the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
During the 2022-2023 awards season, Gerber endorsed Butler for his performance in "Elvis," which earned him a slew of accolades. The couple were photographed kissing at the Golden Globes and attended the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty together, following the ceremony where Butler was nominated for Best Actor.
Although their relationship has ended, it remains to be seen if either of them will speak publicly about the split.
