Eduart Grishaj revealed in an interview with Euronews Albania the reason for his and Arbana Osmani's separation from television.
Invited to share details about his newest cinematic project, the film "Passport", which premieres on January 17, Grishaj spoke about the importance of his latest project and the reason behind his and his partner, Arbana Osmani's, temporary departure from the screen.
Asked by moderator Flori Gjini on the "People" show, Grishaj confessed that the decision to take a break from television was planned and not sudden:
"After many years on television, we thought it was the right time to do something of our own, for our pleasure and desire. The film 'Passport' is a project that we have loved and will continue with another season after a short break."
There has often been talk of a rift between the pair of partners and the previous television station where they were employed, Top Channel, an issue on which Grishaj clarified:
"This pause was necessary for us and is not related to anything else. It is simply a step we wanted to take."
Regarding his return to television, Grishaj said that although he is focused on film productions, he does not rule out the possibility of a return, stating:
"I've always wanted to mix my passions. After this film, maybe I'll go back to television."
