"Emily in Paris" appears to be saying au revoir - goodbye - to a cast member who has been a part of the series since the beginning.
Camille Razat, who plays Emily's (Lily Collins) nemesis, appears to not be returning for season 5, as she is nowhere to be seen in the cast announcement, which was made public on April 18. Camille Razat has appeared in the series in all seasons so far, playing Gabriel's girlfriend, with whom the main character, Emily, also falls in love.
Returning cast members include Lily Collins, Lucas Bravo, Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu and Lucien Laviscount. Emily's new love interest, Marcello, played by Eugenio Franceschini, will also appear.
Lucas Bravo's return to the series comes after the actor had previously spoken about his dissatisfaction with his character's trajectory, telling IndieWire in an interview last year that he was in two minds about "being a part of season 5."
Netflix also announced that the series will begin production on this season in May, with filming set to begin in Rome and then Paris over the summer.
