Pas më shumë se 7 vitesh martesë, Amy Schumer ka paraqitur zyrtarisht kërkesën për divorc nga bashkëshorti i saj, Chris Fischer.

Edhe pse, sipas dokumenteve të dorëzuara në gjykatën e New York, kërkesa është dorëzuar zyrtarisht dje, Amy Schumer e kishte bërë publik lajmin e ndarjes më 12 dhjetor përmes një postimi në Instagram, pas spekulimeve në rrjet mbi gjendjen e martesës së tyre.

“Chris dhe unë kemi marrë vendimin e vështirë për t’i dhënë fund martesës sonë pas 7 vitesh,” shkroi ajo. “Ne e duam shumë njëri-tjetrin dhe do të vazhdojmë të fokusohemi te rritja e djalit tonë. Do ta vlerësonim shumë respektimin e privatësisë sonë në këtë periudhë.”

Megjithatë, ajo theksoi se ndarja është miqësore, gjë kjo e cila u dëshmua edhe nga burime pranë çiftit.

Pas një sërë aludimesh që qarkulluan mbi marrëdhënien mes tyre, në dhjetor të vitit të shkuar, Amy Schumer tha se çfarëdo që po ndodhte mes saj dhe Chris Fischer nuk kishte lidhje me humbjen e saj të peshës, apo autizmin e bashkëshortit.

Në një postim të datës 4 janar, duke parë përpara drejt vitit 2026, aktorja shkroi se ky vit do të jetë i përqendruar te kujdesi dhe dashuria për veten, duke i ftuar njerëzit të vlerësojnë shëndetin, familjen dhe miqtë, e të ecin përpara “pa pendesa, vetëm me dashuri”.

After more than 7 years of marriage, Amy Schumer has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Chris Fischer.

Although, according to documents filed in the New York court, the request was officially filed yesterday, Amy Schumer made the news of the separation public on December 12 through an Instagram post, following speculation online about the state of their marriage.

"Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years," she wrote. "We love each other dearly and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would greatly appreciate your respecting our privacy during this time."

However, she emphasized that the separation is amicable, which was also confirmed by sources close to the couple.

After a series of rumors circulating about their relationship, in December of last year, Amy Schumer said that whatever was going on between her and Chris Fischer had nothing to do with her weight loss or her husband's autism.

In a post dated January 4, looking ahead to 2026, the actress wrote that this year will be focused on self-care and self-love, inviting people to value their health, family, and friends, and move forward "without regrets, only with love."
